New Mexico United and Sandia Resort & Casino are thrilled to launch their new away kit ahead of the 2024 USL Championship season. The “Sandia Kit” is a reflection of the Sandia Pueblo People – the multi-colored sash representing the journey from the Rio Grande, to the Bosque, to the Rangelands, to the Sandia Mountains. New Mexico United is honored to work alongside Sandia Resort & Casino, as well as Sandia Pueblo, in creating a piece that is representative of the Sandia Pueblo People. The kit features United’s iconic yellow base – a color they have worn in their away jersey since 2020 – and blends it with colors that tell a story. The diagonal sash across the piece shifts in color from green – representing the growth created by the Rio Grande in the Bosque, to turquoise – representing the cool water of the river and the Sandia Pueblo’s connection to the color, and finally to granite at the top of the sash on the left shoulder – representing the summit of the journey in the Sandia Mountains.
Sitting front and center is the Sandia Resort & Casino logo. Sandia Resort & Casino have been proud partners of New Mexico United for years, and United are proud to represent them as they travel across the nation this season.
The jersey will be first made available for purchase at United’s Black & Yellow Bash, which will be held at Sandia Resort & Casino on Saturday, February 24th at 6 PM. Limited tickets remain for this event, and can be purchased at THIS LINK.
