New Mexico United is excited to announce that goalkeeper Ford Parker will return to the club for the 2023 USL Championship season. Parker – who grew up in Albuquerque and attended Sandia High School – made three USL Championship appearances in his first season with United, going unbeaten against three playoff clubs, and earning one clean sheet.
The 26-year old goalkeeper returns for year two in the Black & Yellow after spending the two seasons prior with Birmingham Legion FC. Parker played college soccer at the University of New Mexico and University of California Irvine, and played for USL League 2’s Albuquerque Sol in 2018.
Prior to his collegiate and professional careers, Parker played high school soccer at Sandia High in Albuquerque, and club soccer locally at Rio Rapids.
