“This is New Mexico’s team,” said United Owner/President Peter Trevisani. “We are so excited to take United across our great state, making sure that the entire Land of Enchantment has the opportunity to show off their hometowns to all of USL League 2.”
The USL League Two regular season will run from May 26 to July 2, with playoffs set to kick-off shortly thereafter. United U-23’s are coached by Luke Sanford, who has achieved incredible success in the league, taking Mississippi Brilla all the way to the national final. The team will be made up of recent New Mexico United academy graduates, New Mexicans that are currently playing collegiately, successful trialists, and recruited players. The club’s roster will be announced in the coming days.
