On Saturday, November 10, New Mexico United hosted its inaugural Open Trials, presented by Sitel Group.
100 prospects from around the globe came to Robertson Field to tryout for Coach Troy Lesesne and his technical staff. Following the trials, Coach Lesesne met with each player individually, and provided feedback and assessment of each one’s performance.
“I’ve organized many open trials, and I’ve always discovered quality talent,” said Lesesne. “This trial was no different. Even if the opportunity didn’t materialize into a professional contract, it was a valuable experience for the participant.”
